Oct 21 2008. The Seventh International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC) will be held in Karlsruhe from 26-30 October 2008. ISWC is the major international forum, where visionary and state-of-the-art research of all aspects of the Semantic Web are presented. This year's ISWC conference is organised by the Institute AIFB of the technical University of Karlsruhe, with Professor Rudi Studer (the co-scientific co-ordinator of the NeOn Project) as the local conference chair. NeOn is a gold sponsor of ISWC 2008 and represented by its partners who will be contributing to the conference by presenting and demonstrating NeOn research results and technologies. There will be many opportunities to learn more about NeOn and to discuss NeOn with its researchers, developers and practitioners at ISWC 2008. At the NeOn booth, participants will be able to sample the NeOn Toolkit, its plugins and three prototype applications, both in the pharmaceutical and in the fisheries domain. The first 30 participants to visit the NeOn booth will receive an exclusive NeOn USB wristband with the lastest version of the NeOn Toolkit ready to run on any computer.
